She even called me prior to leaving for the day to update me on any openings. We eventually had to send the patient to the ED; however, not because Kimi did not try her best to take care of our patient. The whole procedure was absolutely painless without being flattened like a pancake. Mandy spent time educating me on my breast density vs. the wall chart to help make informed decisions going forward. I really appreciated the time she spent with me answering all my questions. When Catherine came out to call me back, I was instantly put at ease by her demeanor, she had a way of understanding the stress of the unknown that I was going through. She immediately began to show empathy and true compassion for me as a person. She took the time to answer my few questions. Then we went over to the room to do the biopsy and every step of the way I felt like I had someone by my side to make sure I was doing okay. She also explained everything that was happening. For me, I could hear what felt like a sincere concern in her voice (keep in mind I had my eyes closed most of the time, not a fan of needles), and the sincerity meant a lot because I didn’t feel alone. Afterwards she answered all of my aftercare questions with patience and then got me a snack and juice because I was a bit lightheaded.
I believe this woman is an asset to your company because of her professional conduct and the kindness she shows people in these situations. Good people like her are hard to come by, hold on to her.

Going to inland imaging is by far and consistently the best experience i have in dealing with the medical community. Staff are always pleasant, wait times are minimal, no automated phone system to wade through to get to a real person to schedule an appointment, and appointments are typically available within a week or less. I wish this was the case for all the medical service providers in the tri-cities. Going to inland imaging is the best part of getting treatment!

We had a sweet lil 8-year-old patient come in today who was very scared about her appointment. This was her third attempt at having an MRI and the last attempt they would try before telling the doc this wasn’t working. She was teary-eyed when she and her daughter were leaving because of the outstanding care not just towards her daughter, but her as her mom received from Jen. She told me to not only let Jen know how grateful they were, but to also pass this along to her boss, AND her boss’s boss! Out of all 3 MRI’s they have had, this was the first time she felt such outstanding care and compassion before, during, and after the exam.

The tech was named Kimber, and she was AWESOME right from the start! She was very friendly but in a genuine way. She has a vibe that makes a person feel comfortable and at ease instantly. She was incredibly professional during the mammogram but not so much that she felt cold or detached. She explained all of what she was doing. Her commands of when to stay still and hold my breath were clear and steady. Her touch was gentle. She made it easy to crack jokes and carry on a conversation. After glancing at the initial images, she needed to take 2 more shots to capture my wraparound tissue and she immediately explained that this was normal, and it wasn’t because she was seeing something strange in my images. I loved that she knew to do this to help alleviate any fears that might come up from hearing that. It was evident that she genuinely cares about the work she does and the patients she sees. She was ABSOLUTELY exactly what I needed for my first mammogram.

I want to share that I took this survey last year after my annual mammogram and commented that it would be nice if there was an option other than a pink gown for men getting mammograms. She was extremely professional, answered all my questions, and did not make me feel rushed, and the crazy thing is I got off the phone and was not at all upset with the long hold times and instead of complaining about that, here I am sharing the excellent customer service I received. The time she took with me and the patience she showed after all this type of scheduling it is not always the easiest to do for yourself let alone your child to have to go through. I honestly used to hate going to Inland Imaging as I had numerous experiences that were, at best *meh* and at worst *blech*. My last three visits (this year) were truly great. I don’t know whether you have done something to improve staff morale or provided new training or changed expectations, but in all three instances, I experienced stellar patient care from beginning to end. Today that was true with the Receptionist (Lupita ) to the nurse (Cindy) and most especially with the MRI techs (Hannah and KC). They were kind and compassionate. They checked on my comfort (physically and psychologically) at various points. They were empathetic. They were keen listeners. I can’t imagine that anyone likes coming in for these screenings, but when a person can leave feeling psychologically better than when they arrived (and I wasn’t even feeling bad when I arrived), that is a sign of GREAT customer/patient care.

I had to have injections on both hips and was fortunate to have the same radiologist performing the injection part of my exam. She was very personable, answered my questions, and really put me at ease. Even though it was two different hips, she did not skip a beat with how she approached my visit and even shared that there may be a slight difference in what I may feel doing the left hip today which I appreciated that heads up so much because it was indeed different.

Even explained exactly what the doctor was going to be doing. I have arthritis in my right hand and was getting another injection to see if it would help improve the pain.

Providence Neurosurgery reached out to Lisa in scheduling with an urgent request. Dr Carlson found that the patient needed to get an MRI prior, which could alter how he performs the surgery, so it was needed urgently. The PT required IV sedation so Lisa reached out to Nursing and MRI. Crystal and Cori were more than willing to do what they could to schedule this urgent request.

Having to have a biopsy to rule/out cancer is anxiety provoking, but the empathetic manner and the way they worked so smoothly together, made it the best experience it could be.

(I am in the medical field so have much experience in all aspects of patient care, so I know you how patients should be treated.) My husband had catastrophic medical events starting last May and spent approximately 60 days in-house this summer between HFH and SHMC. To be honest there isn’t anything that I experienced during my visit that gave me any indication that something needed improvement. The front desk staff was amazing, I sat down for maybe a minute and a half before being called back. The staff that was in the back that did my MRI did an amazing job and were super friendly. This was my first MRI and it was a great experience that left me feeling like I was cared for and with the ability to come back for more if need be.

The technician who performed my mammogram was the BEST I have ever had. She was so kind and competent. I am flat-chested, and it is always very difficult to get a good scan of my breast tissue. In the past, mammograms have been so unpleasant (both due to pain and the attitude of the technician) that I dreaded getting them. That was not the case in this procedure, and I am truly grateful!

There was a patient that was having bad tremors/seizures and wasn't able to do her MRI. The MRI tech came and asked that we keep an eye on her in the lobby until her husband arrived. Pam immediately went out and sat with her and held her head so she didn't hit it on the chair. The patient and her husband were extremely thankful to Pam for the help and comfort she gave her. I checked in a patient yesterday who said she was in getting her CCAC exam since her husband’s scan probably saved his life. She told me his CCAC found one artery completely blocked and 2 others that were clogged. From the scan, they tried to do a Stent but the clogged artery was calcified. He then had quadruple bypass surgery prior to him having a heart attack.

I had a patient whose son was in Seattle at Swedish and she flew over here to Spokane for what she thought was her CT scan but was actually her bone density. I called scheduling to see if we could work her in for the CT and got Nicole. Nicole tried everything she possibly could to get through to Spok. Urology to get a stat CR ordered (since we didn't have one) so we could do the pt here at HF (couldn't do an ISTAT due to the new machine and staffing). Nicole continued to call the other locations and SC was the only one able to squeeze her in. Patient was so happy!

The NP MRI and X-ray team along with Dr. Handley agreed to do an arthrogram patient that was 2 hours late thinking her appointment was at 1 pm instead of 11 am. Josh Roders and Dr. Douglas H. cut their lunches short for this patient even though they had 4 injection patients scheduled for the afternoon. MRi had a patient that was being done at HF and did not hesitate to accommodate this patient. This team rocked today. The patient was very grateful.

I am an 80-year-old retired after 30 years as a special agent from DOJ. I have been serviced through the last 30-40 years in all kinds of facilities that deal with medical care, i.e., hospitals, clinics, XRay, etc. I really wanted you to know just how great your personnel is! From your staff at the front desk to the staff at your nuclear/CT portion. Most of all, I personally want to thank "Marquee" for his remarkable care during my scans! He has to be one of the most remarkable human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His professional demeanor and the help he had to give me was above and beyond anything I have been subjected to. I have had 3 surgeries on my back, total knee replacement on my left knee, a pacemaker/defibrillator, surgery/joint rebuild of my left hand for a gunshot wound, and various other procedures, so I believe I am a qualified person to appreciate these individuals. Brittany was following up on an outside pediatric study from the Tri-Cities where there was monophasic flow in a lower extremity. Despite a squirming baby, she followed the pathology as far proximally as baby would allow, and even when she was frustrated about one image, she went back up and re-evaluated from there even more proximally to find a very small narrowing/compression in an artery! She could have taken the easy way out and just been satisfied with saying, "appears unchanged from prior" but instead, she went up and re-evaluated to actually find the source of this baby's problem. It made me proud to work with her and know that she cared enough for the patient's care to give the baby's family a more thorough answer.
