Partnership Grants Access to Radiology Interpretations and Regional Image Distribution Network
(Spokane, WA) August 1, 2011: Inland Imaging is now offering diagnostic radiology interpretation services and image distribution services to Samaritan Hospital. The service began July 1, 2011. Moses Lake area physicians and patients will receive high quality, subspecialty radiology interpretations of their diagnostic imaging exams. They will also gain access to Inland Imaging’s image distribution network that allows patient information and images to be shared via secure, high-speed networks throughout the western United States.
Moses Lake area physicians and patients will see an increase in the quality of exam interpretations and superior service with faster delivery of their diagnostic results. Inland Imaging is one of only a few radiology groups in Washington State to offer subspecialty reads for medical imaging exams, resulting in a higher level of expertise and care for the patient.

Inland Imaging will also offer real time reading of studies performed after hours, utilizing one of their subspecialty trained Emergency Radiologists located in Spokane, WA. Inland Imaging will provide hospital physicians with access to its Imaging Suite® an on-demand web-based image viewing application.
Sarah Russell, Inland Imaging chief operations officer says, “Samaritan Hospital’s partnership with Inland Imaging provides an onsite physician presence combined with the support of subspecialty readers and local after-hours coverage. Access to the Inland Imaging distribution network should greatly improve care to area patients and open a gateway for collaboration with the Moses Lake regional medical community.”
Bim Lindsey, Samaritan Hospital director of Diagnostic Imaging, has seen an immediate increase in report turnaround time. “One of the greatest benefits of partnering with Inland Imaging is how quickly we receive imaging results,” Lindsey explains. “We now turn around our reports within 24 hours, which means physicians and patients can count on quick and accurate results.”
Inland Imaging has similar radiology service contracts with Pullman Memorial Hospital, Walla Walla General Hospital, Mount Carmel Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, and Sacred Heart Medical Center.
